Loans Outstanding Subject to Bankruptcy
Account 971: balances of loans whose borrower has filed for bankruptcy, under any chapter. Read from 2022-03-31. Through 2021 the line was year-to-date and restarted each first quarter. From 2022 it is a balance, though filers holding 10% to 16% of the fourth-quarter total still restart it, so a cycle is best compared with the same quarter of another year.
