Quickstart

One quarter, every credit union, total assets. No download, no account:

SELECT cu_number, account_value AS total_assets
FROM read_parquet('https://data.quartercall.com/curated/accounts/quarter=2026Q1/data.parquet')
WHERE account_code = 'A010'
ORDER BY total_assets DESC
LIMIT 10;

What the query returns

  • A010 is NCUA's account code for total assets. The file holds every code a credit union filed; the account codes reference names them all. accounts.account_value holds the amount, and the accounts page has every column and its type.
  • One row per credit union per code, from the newest filing for the quarter. Amendments are already resolved; filings and amendments says how.
  • accounts.cu_number is a charter. It changes when a credit union converts its charter; to follow one institution across quarters use accounts.cuid (which key).
  • A recent quarter is open: a late filing or an amendment can still change it (quarter status).
