curated/profiles — NCUA's Credit Union Profile form, one row per credit union per quarter.

The table below is callbase's own eight columns, then the NCUA fields most often read. All 179 NCUA fields are in the profile fields reference.

Three things to know before you join it:

Not every column describes its quarter. Most do, but the name and profile_charter_number are what NCUA held when callbase fetched the filing, and assets_prior_cycle is not always the prior cycle's (gotcha 2). For assets read A010 from accounts.
Not every filing in accounts has a profile row. A filing with no Profile block has none, so join LEFT (gotcha 3).
Many fields are text as filed: dates, Yes and No, numbers in strings (gotcha 4). Before 2022Q4, assets_prior_cycle, members_prior_cycle and peer_group are NULL: NCUA serves a placeholder there.

profile_charter_number names the charter NCUA held when the filing was fetched, so do not join on it: join on cu_number, or follow cuid across quarters (which key).
